Skills for Life
Our Skills for Life initiative gives back to the communities under the education pillar through university scholarships.
Since inception in 2001, the Skills for Life programme has awarded over 200 university scholarships to bright and needy students across East Africa, with 40 of them from Uganda. Every year, scholarships are awarded to bright and needy students who, in spite of excelling in their studies, cannot afford university education. Successful scholars receive a complete university scholarship package inclusive of tuition, books, accommodation and a monthly stipend. The programme partners with both private and public universities in the region including Strathmore University in Kenya, Makerere University in Uganda and Mzumbe University in Tanzania.
